My teaching philosophy is to get to know my students as well possible - their goals, dreams and ambitions, and tailor both lessons and long term endeavors towards those. I work with students to develop great technique, posture, movement and musicality, in order to have beautiful control and comfortability when they perform.

I maintain a dedicated studio in San Francisco, guiding students not only to become great violinists and violists, but upstanding members of their communities. In addition to each individual’s musical growth, I offer in depth guidance with competition and college preparation, auditions, orchestra and chamber music.

I teach violin and viola lessons at my home in San Francisco, as well as online to students and adults of all ages. I am able to travel to student’s homes within the city of SF. Whether you’re looking to reach a higher level as a violinist or learn for the first time, I’d love to work with you and have fun making music together!
